I began working as a babysitter last year, have been a summer basketball camp coach since 2014, and worked as a tutor in an LA elementary school for the past 2 years!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love giving children the opportunity to explore new outdoors activities. I myself play basketball, but love trying out new sports and other recreational activity. Arts and crafts are always my favorite time to get us to think creatively and express ourselves! But I especially like the random made up games that kids come up with when they're using their imagination!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is creating a comfortable environment for the kids. As I am coming in to their space I want them to be open, happy, and themselves!
I also truly value the opportunity to teach children something whether its a new hobby, a new favorite song, or just a new way of thinking I think its important for a nanny to add to the child's life in some way, shape, or form :)

My experience with special needs children...
My cousin is autistic and I've grown lots of loving patience from interacting with him and i'm so grateful! One of the children I used to tutor was also special needs and I spent ample time getting to know her and her unique needs from me.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Those first moments when I can physically see that the child is starting to warm up to me are always amazing!
