In high school, I was a student teacher for 2 years from grades kindergarten- eighth grade :)) I did everything from creating lesson plans, to even playing with the kids at recess!
My experience with special needs children...
Although I have no experience with special needs children, My teacher always encouraged and pushed me to be apart of a special needs class. Sadly, there was never an opening for one of those classes while I was student teaching, she still told me I should keep it into consideration once I become a real teacher. Ever since then, i’ve really thought on it, and believe that is something I would love to specialize in later on in my career!
