I enjoy doing a variety of fun and age-appropriate activities with children, especially activities that allow them to learn while having fun. I love doing arts and crafts, reading books, playing outside, going on walks, visiting parks, playing games, and doing simple educational activities. I also enjoy baking or cooking together, building with blocks, dancing to music, and encouraging imaginative play. Most importantly, I like getting to know each child’s interests and finding activities that make them feel happy, comfortable, and excited to learn.

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trusting environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. I believe a nanny should be patient, dependable, and attentive while also making sure each child feels heard, valued, and supported. Building a strong relationship with both the children and their family is important to me because I want parents to feel confident knowing their children are in caring and capable hands.

I have experience working with children with different needs and understand the importance of being patient, compassionate, and attentive to each child as an individual. My experience has taught me to adjust my approach based on a child’s communication style, comfort level, abilities, and needs. I enjoy creating a supportive and encouraging environment where children feel safe, included, and understood. I believe every child deserves patience, respect, and the opportunity to learn and grow at their own pace.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments working with children is when a child becomes comfortable enough with me to open up, be silly, and truly be themselves. I especially love the little moments, like when a child gets excited to show me something they made, tells me a story, or reaches for me because they feel safe and comfortable around me. Those moments remind me how meaningful childcare can be and how important it is to make each child feel loved, heard, and valued. Seeing their personality grow and knowing I was able to be a positive part of their day is something I truly cherish.
