Hi! My name is Yazmeen and I am a 24 year old artist living in Oakland, CA. I have been working in education since I graduated from Cal Poly Slo in 2023 with my B.S. in psychology and minors in child development, studio arts, and ethnic studies. For work, I am substitute teaching, helping facilitate a mural workshop for a nonprofit (ages 14-25), and nurturing my painting practice. As a substitute teacher I have worked with all age groups and I truly learn from and love them all! I highly value fostering a safe and creative environment for young minds and spirits to thrive. I am a quick learner, reliable, highly adaptable, and patient. I have also picked up some babysitting gigs from family and friends but am looking for a more permanent nanny position.
Outside of work, I love to spend my free time in nature, reading, and finding a new adventure!
