Activities I enjoy doing with children...
when babysitting, i love planning a mix of creative, active, and calming activities to keep children engaged and happy. we can do arts and crafts like coloring, painting, making bracelets, or fun paper crafts, and even decorate cupcakes together. for active play, i enjoy organizing scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, freeze dance, sidewalk chalk art, or playing catch outside. i also like including learning activities such as reading storybooks, building puzzles, doing simple science experiments, or playing memory games. for imaginative fun, we can build blanket forts, dress up, put on puppet shows, or pretend to run a store or restaurant. and for calmer moments, i’m always happy to do movie time, music and singing, guided coloring, or cozy bedtime stories to help everyone wind down.
