Full-Time Nanny Job: The Gaeta Family with 1 Child
Our son was born August 2026 and we are looking for an excellent full time nanny to join our Newton, MA household beginning January 2027! Ideal hours would total ~40 hours per week, at four weekdays of nanny’s choosing per week ~10 hours each of those days (7:30 am - 5:30 pm). Arrangement intended to last at minimum through September 2027. Includes sick and vacation time. Hourly rate commensurate with experience, ranging from $26-30 per hour as a W2 employee with $200 monthly health care stipend. NOTE: live-in option available given finished basement (~1k sq. ft.) with full bathroom, and entrance.
Responsibilities:
- Providing attentive, engaging, and educational activities with full supervision (includes outdoor activities)
- Behavioral guidance and developing social skills
- Managing daily routine
- Minimal housework revolving around the child’s needs (laundry, diaper changing, dressing, etc.)
- Feeding and helping with solid introduction (as of this posting we are exclusively breastfeeding)
Requirements:
- Experience with infant and early child care
- Reliable transportation to our home (~0.75 miles from Green Line stop)
- Comfortable with golden retriever (no expectation to care for family dog)
- Non-smoker
- Infant and child CPR & First Aid certified
- Updated vaccinations (at minimum TDAP, Covid, Flu, MMR, Varicella, Hep B & A)

My wife and I are looking for a nanny starting next year, January 4th, 2027.
Our daughter, Eve, was born in May so she will be 8 months old when we will start to need childcare services.
I work in Cambridge, MA and will be gone a solid 8 hours a day, possibly more, Monday through Friday. My wife works much longer hours than I do, but she is able to work from home.
As of today, we do not have any specifics in regards to expectations or responsibilities as we are anticipating that our daughter’s needs will change between now and January.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Smick Family with 1 Child
Hello from the Smick family! Naomi is 2 years old, and lives with her mom, Becky and her grandparents, Joe and Lisa. Mom works in Public Health and the lucky Grandparents currently do full time childcare. That is getting a bit hard, so we’re looking to find a fun way to give them a break and get Naomi some socialization too!
Naomi just turned two, and is a curious, gregarious and active kid. She loves to read, explore, play outside, dance, color and more. She’s never been to childcare before but goes to many library programs and a gymnastics class every week and plays very well with others 😉She has a few close friends in her pandemic pod that are like family to us.
Logistics: Mom or grandparents would be able to cover any transportation to and from. Naomi is with her dad on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, so those times are not possible, but afternoons on those days could work. Otherwise Mon/Wed/Fri days would be ideal. We can be very flexible in terms of hours and days, and can try different things out to figure out what works best.
