We would prefer someone who has their own car, who does not smoke, who is comfortable with dogs and who is CPR certified. Mom returns to work in October and dad works from home. We are hoping this person loves to get outside, do baby appropriate activities/play and is willing to help with baby chores while Aldo naps. We’re a family of five looking for a trustworthy babysitter for our three girls (ages 2, 7, and 8) for occasional daytime dates and date nights.
For daytime dates, the kids will already be fed and taken care of. For evening dates, they will have already eaten dinner and will mostly be settled in their rooms, aside from our youngest who may still need some light care.
Our older girls are pretty independent, so this is more about being present, attentive, and loving rather than constant entertaining.
We also have a friendly 4-year-old Bernedoodle, so comfort around dogs is a must.
While most of our needs will be occasional daytime dates and date nights, we would love to find someone who could potentially become an extension of our family over time. We occasionally take short 2–3 day trips and would be interested in finding someone who may be open to providing care during those times as well. This is absolutely not a requirement—we are more than happy to connect with someone who is only available for date nights and shorter babysitting sessions. However, if you’re interested in both, we’d love to discuss that possibility as we build a relationship and level of trust over time.

Support with kids while I work from home. Husband works nights, so he will be sleeping. Responsibilities engaging with the boys, make sure they are fed, light cleaning after them. If available, taking the 3 years old to preschool twice a week.
