Part-Time Nanny Job: The Schroeder Family with 1 Child
Full-time Spanish-speaking nanny for our infant son, Dupont Circle / Adams Morgan, DC
We’re a warm, low-key family looking for a loving, experienced nanny for our baby son, born this fall. We’d like him to grow up hearing Spanish since one of us grew up speaking it, so we’re looking for a fluent Spanish speaker who will speak Spanish with him all day. Conversational English is enough for talking with us (and one of us is fluent in Spanish).
Start: anytime between now and early January
Schedule: Monday–Friday, about 9am to 6pm. We’re open to part-time ~25 hrs/week through February 2027, moving to full-time in March.
Pay: $26–$30/hour depending on experience, with overtime at 1.5x for hours over 40
Benefits: paid federal holidays, 2 weeks paid vacation, DC paid sick leave, DC paid family leave coverage
Health benefits: $350 monthly stipend
Duties: caring for our son (feeding and bottles, naps, diapering, play, walks and outings), plus his laundry and keeping his things tidy. No general housecleaning.
Requirements: at least 5 years of childcare experience, including infants, with references we can call; infant CPR/First Aid; must be authorized to work in the U.S. This is a W-2 position with taxes paid and a written DC work agreement.

Full-Time Nanny Job: The edwards Family with 2 Children
Hello My Name is Tonnise I have 2 younger kids my work days is Monday-Sunday 8am-9pm depending on the days I need someone to pick up and take care of my babies.
Full-Time Nanny Job: The Belden Family with 2 Children
My wife and I are looking for consistent care for our daughter (1 y/o) and the daughter of another couple with whom we are in a nanny share (~9 m/o). The pay is $22 per hour for 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
We really want to have a positive relationship with our nanny, so we try to be as generous as possible. If you like certain snacks, we'll get them. If we are going out of town, get sick, or otherwise don't need child care on any given day, we still pay $22 per hour for 8 hours for that day.
We don't need someone with particular skills, training, or background, or someone to hold the girls to a specific, regimented schedule. All we're looking for is someone who exercises sound judgment and who enjoys watching children and will help them learn about the world around them. You could do that by hanging out in our house (in the A/C in front of the TV) and playing with the kids, walking to one of the many parks, coffee shops, or grocery stores around the house, or doing any number of other activities the city offers.
We have three dogs (two are small, <15 pounds, and 8 and 9 y/o; one medium, ~40 pounds, 7 y/o) who are extremely friendly and don't require much upkeep.
Also, my wife and I typically are able to work from home most days of the week, so we're always available to help out with anything that comes up.
