Full-Time Nanny Job: The Vashishta Family with 1 Child
We are looking for a loving, reliable and experienced nanny for first baby, a little boy named Kiaan who will be 6 months old when care begins.
DETAILS
Location: West Loop (near Skinner, with plenty of parking!)
Start Date: January 2027
Schedule: M-F, between 8am-5pm
Employment: W-2 position with guaranteed 40 hours, plus overtime at 1.5X hourly rate
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide loving, attentive care for our baby
- Plan age-appropriate activities that support his development
- Support naps, feeding and daily routine
- Handle bottles, baby dishes and baby laundry
- Take him on outings and activities outside the home
- Keep his space clean and organized
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience caring for infants
- Warm, patient, dependable and attentive
- Strong communication skills and references
- Up to date on vaccinations
- Non-smoker
- Current infant and child CPR/first-aid certification
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
A NOTE ABOUT OUR FAMILY
My husband and I work from home some days, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable caring for a baby in a home where a parent is present.
We also have a very friendly dog Simba, a mini goldendoodle who loves people.

We are a 5 minute walk from the Division blue line stop. Responsibilities: Some household duties including prepping food for the baby and doing his laundry. Pets: We have a mini Aussie dog who takes a little bit to adjust to new people so somebody pet friendly and patient is required. Compensation: Open to discussion based on prior experience. Sick pay and PTO available, as well as paid holidays. Will be paid through a payroll service, so this is a W2 position. Requirements: Must be up to date on vaccines (TDAP, Covid, flu) and not smoke. The ideal nanny will have prior experience. Other: I work from home full-time, so I will be around to help occasionally.
