Babysitter Job: The N Family with 1 Child
I am a full-time working mom looking for a reliable, local babysitter to help fill a few predictable gaps in our schedule. My 4-year-old son goes to daycare full-time, so this is a completely occasional role perfect for someone looking for extra cash without a heavy commitment.
When we need you:
• Daycare Closures: Days when his daycare is closed for holidays or staff training. These will be full 8-to-10-hour shifts. Some days may need to drop off at daycare and pick up from day care
• Rare Weekends: I work one weekend day a month .We would need full-day coverage for that single day.
• Emergency Backup: I prefer to stay home with my son myself if he gets sick, but I need a reliable backup contact just in case an absolute work emergency arises.

• Solid Paychecks: When we use you, you get a full day's worth of hours, not a short 3 or 4-hour shift.
• Low Maintenance: Occasional driving, some pick-ups, and drop-offs

Requirements:
Since this care directly covers my mandatory work shifts, high reliability and excellent communication are absolute musts. Ideally, you live within 5–10 minutes of our neighborhood so travel isn't a hassle.

Normally, I scoop them up from school at 3pm, but with school holidays and early dismissals, we realize that we need help on days that we just can’t get to them in time and need aftercare (usually until 5pm). It would also be nice to have a place for them to go some days when they don’t have school. Early dismissal days would require transportation only for school pick-up. Responsibilities would include playing with/do projects with the girls, snack / light meal prep, and light cleaning.
