We are a family in Decatur looking for a warm, dependable, and engaging after-school nanny/family assistant for our sweet and spirited 4-year-old daughter!
Hours would be Monday–Friday, approximately 3–6:30 p.m. Responsibilities include school pickup, engaging in fun activities, preparing snacks, and assisting with light household tasks such as children’s laundry, tidying, and simple dinner/meal preparation.
Above all, we’re hoping to find someone who genuinely loves children, is patient, proactive, and will treat our daughter and home with kindness and respect. Some flexibility and availability during school breaks would be a plus!
We’re hoping to find someone who will become a trusted, long-term part of our family’s routine!

Full-Time Nanny Job: The Adekoya Family with 1 Child
We are seeking a warm, reliable, and experienced nanny to care for our infant starting in September 2025. This position primarily covers weekday childcare during standard work hours (8:00 AM to 5:00 PM), with occasional additional hours on evenings or weekends as needed. Any extended hours will always be communicated in advance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, nurturing care for one infant- 10-month-old
Engage the baby in age-appropriate, stimulating activities

Change diapers and support sleep/feeding routines
Maintain a clean and organized play and feeding area

CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified)

My 3 year old needs full time care and my 4 year old is in pre-k so he only needs part time care. The person applying would need a car to pick my son up. I have a 10 year old daughter that does virtual learning, she won't need much care and may actually be a help more than anything. My husband and I work from home so we will be here. Ideally you will 4 10 hour days, but this can be negotiated as we are flexible thanks!

Would prefer an in-home daycare situation/anything similar where my daughter isn’t home all day and also socializes with her peers, but without all the new & strict guidelines that come along with a larger daycare now. Outdoor education/Montessori-based learning is a must for any caregiver to use as their basis of teaching kids.
