A little bit about us

Seeking a Reliable Early-Morning Nanny for Two School-Age Children

We’re looking for a dependable, caring nanny for our children, ages 7 and 9. I work nights as a nurse at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, and my husband works early mornings, so our primary need is morning care and school drop-off.

Schedule:
• Start time: 5:00–5:30 AM
• School begins at 8:15 AM
• Occasional afternoon help with school pickup at 3:45 PM and transportation to activities
• Occasional date nights
• Optional opportunities to travel with our family

Responsibilities include helping the kids get dressed and ready for school, preparing breakfast, school drop-off, and helping with child-related tasks such as their laundry, organizing belongings, and preparing for the school week.

Punctuality, proactive communication, and safe supervision are essential. You must have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and appropriate auto insurance. Mileage for transporting the children and completing child-related errands will be reimbursed at $0.75 per mile.

As the hospital’s busy season approaches, I hope to work more nights, so we’re looking for someone with consistent early-morning availability. We’ll discuss and agree on the specific days and hours together.

I work part time and I am typically done before school pick up. Helping after school with sports drop off and pick ups.
