We're looking for a warm, reliable full-time nanny to care for our 5-month-old son beginning January 2027 for a long-term engagement.
Schedule & Pay
Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm (40 hours/week)
$25/hour (W-2), guaranteed 40 hours/week
Paid time off and paid holidays
To be discussed: babysitting for date nights and occasional local travel (a week at the coast in the summer, for example)
About Us
Both parents work meeting heavy, full-time roles from home on Central/East Coast hours, so we're nearby and available throughout the day. We're looking for someone who is comfortable with that kind of shared, collaborative setup.
What You'll Do
Provide engaging, age-appropriate care: play, reading, crafts, outings, and outdoor time, growing with him as he develops
Support breastfeeding when possible, and bottle feeding (he's primarily breastfed)
Prepare meals and snacks as we begin solids
Handle baby-related laundry, tidying, bottle cleaning (including pump parts), and organization
Pitch in with light household tasks when time allows
- A family car will be available for outings
What We're Looking For
Hands-on experience caring for infants under 12 months
Current infant CPR and First Aid certification
Fully vaccinated, including up to date on Tdap and flu shots
Clean driving record
Nonsmoker
Warm, patient, dependable, and proactive, with strong communication and the confidence to take initiative

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Keller Family with 1 Child
Hello! We are looking to join or start a nanny share in North Portland in January. Our son will be 7 months old and we’re looking for a family with a similar age baby. I need 2 full days per week (ideally Tuesdays/ Thursdays). We would love if the other family can host since we’ve got a sweet, shy dog that is apprehensive with strangers. Looking for another lighthearted, open, and playful family, who loves outdoor time with kids, wants to avoid screens until they’re older, is updated on vaccines, and prioritizes evidence based child development guidelines. Families (and eventually nannies) from diverse cultural or language backgrounds are very welcome. Please message me if interested!

Babysitter Job: The Zimmerman Family with 3 Children
We need some help to get our busy kids all the places they need to go:
*Monday afternoons: pick up children from school take them home and then to sports practice. (SW/NWPDX)
*Most Wednesdays: pick up children from school and take to sports practice. (SW/NW PDX)
*Thursday: care for child after school in our home (may also occasionally involve a pickup). (SW/NW PDX)
These ~3 hour shifts will also include driving, snack making, occasional dinner prep or light errands in neighborhood, game playing, reading, etc. We have one kid who loves to swim and would love your help getting him to the pool!
One thing to know is our kids do not attend school close to home. To pick them up and bring them home you will be required to navigate the freeway and side roads at high traffic times; the commute back and forth can occasionally take close to an hour. Cool demeanor and driving expertise is a must; we do have a mini van you could use!
*Occasional additional nights and weekends as needed.
*Kids are smart and high energy. Experience and interest in dealing with neurodiversity, will make the job easier for all of us.
