Full-Time Nanny Job: The Newman Family with 1 Child
We are a loving, easygoing family seeking a caring and dependable nanny to become an important part of our daughter’s world. Our daughter is a happy, curious, and fun loving 19 month old who loves exploring, learning new things, being outdoors, reading, music, and making people smile. She has a big personality and is at such a fun age where every day seems to bring something new.
We’re looking for someone who will not only keep her safe and supported, but genuinely enjoy spending time with her, engaging with her, encouraging her development, and sharing in the excitement of her daily discoveries. We value someone who is warm, energetic, reliable, and comfortable getting down on the floor to play, heading outside to explore, reading lots of books, and finding fun in the everyday moments.
The position is approximately 33 hours per week, Monday through Friday. We recently had an unexpected change in childcare and hope to find the right person ASAP, but we can be flexible on both the start date and weekly schedule for a great fit.
More than simply finding childcare, we’re hoping to find someone who wants to build a genuine relationship with our daughter and, over time, feels like an extension of our family. We want our nanny to feel comfortable in our home, valued and appreciated, and to know that we see this as a partnership. Open communication, mutual respect, and trust are really important to us.
We’re hoping for someone interested in a consistent, long term position who can become another trusted and caring person in our daughter’s life. Our previous nanny is happy to serve as a reference and share her experience working with our family, which we hope can also give prospective candidates a sense of what it’s like to be part of our family.

Once we establish a relationship with each other and the kids, you would be in charge of lunch preparation and driving the girls to activities.
