A little bit about us

Scientists couple, both working at FAA (at AC/EHT). We are looking for a sitter for our 8 year old kid, for weekday evening hours and eventually for summer when school is closed and the Linwood camp hours are inadequate.
We want to get familiarized with the sitter before we decide to hire for summer.

Our kid is not your average kid, in that he can occupy himself for hours with crafts and Legos. So comparatively it will be an easy job (you don't have to chase him or stop him from getting into trouble because he never gets into trouble like a typical kid does, he is wise guy in an 8 yr old body lol). Sitting him entails managing his afterschool activities (reading/ school assignments), keeping him company, helping him stay on task, and staying engaged with him. Miscellaneous work: Occasional pick-ups from after care. Light housework.
