Live-In Full-Time Nanny Job: The Wilson Family with 2 Children
We're a family of four in Mt. Kisco with two children who have autism. We're looking for a patient, engaged person to join our household — someone who genuinely enjoys working with kids and can bring calm, structure, and a sense of humor to our daily routines.
The role centers on three high-need windows: mornings (school prep), after school/dinner, and bedtime. During school hours, responsibilities shift to light housework — tidying common areas and kids rooms, occasional meal prep for kids, dishes, etc.
Andrew (11) has more significant support needs. He's verbal but has expressive and receptive language challenges, so clear, simple communication works best. He's generally easy going and self-engaging, but can become frustrated when he's left waiting for the next thing coming on schedule too long, or struggling to communicate. Andrew is a sweet and trusting boy, who has very simple interests like walking in the backyard, swings, and aimlessly hanging around grown ups. He will be home schooled this year, and staying around his teacher those hours.
Generally, he needs hands-on help with daily self-care but has the potential to build more independence with the right coaching, which we hope to achieve with group effort.
Victoria (7) has moderate support needs with a big personality. She can be funny, creative, and engaging — and she can also be strong-willed, quick to frustrate, and prone to dramatic meltdowns. She responds much better to humor and playfulness than to rigidity or confrontation. The right approach with her makes a huge difference. She is very curious and likes to explore arounds, inside cabinets, drawers, mixing stuff, and drawing. She needs more surveillance to keep her out of getting into all things.
All work around the kids will start as assistance to parents with the goal to build strong rapport and bonds that would progress into confidence and independent decision making based on kids' needs.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Fitzgerald Family with 1 Child
We are looking for a nanny come January 2026 for our one son who will be about 6 months old at the time. I am currently pregnant and due at the end of July.
We are still figuring out the schedule, I work full time and go into the office in NYC Monday - Friday, my husband has a more flexible schedule, so we will figure that out as it gets closer to the time we actually need to hire.
We have a cat and a dog, so we would need someone who isn't allergic to either pet. We would want this person to also let our dog outside in the backyard or take him for short walk during the day. The cat doesn't need much just refreshing of water bowls.

Full-Time Nanny Job: The Schnipke Family with 1 Child
Roland is a 6 month old boy about to turn 7 months. He is friendly and likes meeting other babies. His favorite books are The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Rainbow Fish, and he loves turning the pages and studying the artwork. He's most happy when engaged directly by someone, even if he's just watching them fold the laundry or cook. He is in love with our cat and will stop whatever he's doing to watch her and try to pet her. He can be clingy in new environments and is sensitive about his sleep, which makes day-care a challenge.
We would need a nanny for roughly 30 to 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday to match our work schedules. We work from home so there's some flexibility to our schedules. We're happy to help with responsibilities around pick-up and drop-off, and to work out a schedule with the nanny and other parents as needed.
