My husband and I are expecting our first baby in October ‘25, and we’re exploring a nanny share starting around Jan or Feb ‘26, once we’re both back at work. We're based in the Golden Hills area of North Redondo Beach and are hoping to find a likeminded family nearby interested in sharing warm, high-quality care.
About us:
-Two full-time working parents (I am hybrid, my husband is full-time remote)
-We have friendly pets (two dog and two cats), so a pet-friendly share family and caregiver is a must
-Ideally would like to rotate hosting.
-We value a nurturing environment focused on connection and development
-We strive to avoid being helicopter parents
-We’re fully open to a nanny who speaks additional languages—this is a lovely bonus, but not required

-A family with a baby close in age (±6 months ideally)
-We’re happy to join a share that includes an older sibling
-Shared values around responsive caregiving and a collaborative communication style
-Looking for full-time care (e.g., 8:30am–6:00pm M–F), but flexible on details
-A family with similar, free-range philosophy to child-rearing.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Glick Family with 1 Child
We are a California-based family (Redondo Beach). We have a 19 month old son and two small dogs. We have an au pair whose year ends in September and we are in need of a part time nanny to join our family. We need someone who is a self-starter and comfortable being proactive and starting early (6AM).
- 19 month old boy who is sweet and loves to play. He will be in school 9-3 Monday through Thursday.
- Mom works from home full time (east coast hours).
- Dad works from home on Fridays.
- Need coverage from 6 AM - 9:00AM Monday through Thursday and 6 AM - 2:00PM on Fridays.
- Need someone who loves to cook who can prep healthy meals and snacks for our toddler.
-Prefer someone who can help with light housekeeping

We are looking for someone who has:
Strong childcare experience & strong references required. Must have a reliable mode of transportation to get to and from our home. Is punctual and has the flexibility to start as early as needed or stay later with advance notice or to help occasionally for date nights.
Seeking a PUNCTUAL (absolute must), strong work ethic, no cellphone usage while working (except in emergencies) emotionally and mentally stable, patient, responsible, organized, HONEST and PROACTIVE individual to:
1) lovingly attend to our 5yr old son. Get him ready for school, walk him to and from school (school is around the corner), give him a bath immediately after school, prepare/cook his breakfast and lunches, attend to keeping his areas and laundry clean and organized. He is at preschool daily from 8:00 am to 11:30 am, and naps from 2pm to 4pm (naps getting shorter).
2) keep things organized and clean (cleaning: keeping kitchen clean after using, keeping our son’s room, play areas and bathroom organized/dusted, doing HIS laundry ) **we have HOUSEKEEPING TO deep cleans weekly **
Interview process will consist of: 1) telephone Interview ; 2) Reference checks; 3) in person/video interview; 4) Background check/reference check; 5) Review of vaccination records (standard vaccinations) and COVID test/vaccination
