Part-Time Nanny Job: The Dunlap Family with 1 Child
Hello! We are seeking a part time in home nanny (15-20 hrs/week) for our 2.5 year old daughter by the end of September/early October.
It’s really important for us to find someone who meshes well with our family and values. We’re a biracial home, advocates, and allies. We focus on teaching our daughter inclusivity and kindness. We are located in NE Grand Rapids- Creston area. Our last nanny family felt like extended family to us, and we’re really hoping to find another magical match!
Engagement/Care: We’re looking for someone with a desire to spend lots of time outdoors, fostering her imagination and curiosity. Montessori style teaching/engagement activities- she loves art, building materials, helping bake/cook, movement, etc. Outings each week in the community together- local parks, Frederick Meijer Garden, library, etc (we would provide $ for her). Socializing with other children, etc.
Hours: My husband works full time M-F in office. My hours and timing for childcare vary each week depending on my work meetings. Childcare hrs vary 15-20 per week, between M-TH (usually between the hrs of 9:30am and 4:30pm). I typically send my schedule out the week prior for the upcoming week. No holidays expected or weekends!
Pay: $20-$23 depending on experience.

The older two are in school, so the job is primarily for our 3-year-old. You would also be caring for our older two children for about 1. 5 hours per day (when they get home from school). Our children are obsessed with the outdoors, so the majority of the day will be spent outside when the weather allows. Otherwise, they all enjoy reading, crafts, and a variety of toys.
