Hello! We are looking for a nanny share for our infant, Liam. The position starts in August, 2026, but we can be flexible with the start date. The role involves engaging our baby through play and exploration, ensuring safety at all times, and following a daily routine. You’ll work weekdays during the day, Monday through Thursday part time providing a nurturing environment for our little one. We also have two cats but they do not require care besides some cuddles! We are looking for someone to come tidy a bit and do laundry for 6 hours on days our child is able to stay at daycare, but who is willing to switch to watching our toddler when she gets sent home.
We would need you to be ok watching a moderately sick kid sometimes, too, and ok coming to work moderately ill.
We need help so I don’t have to leave my job just to transition to daycare. We need help for about six months of daycare, starting in September. No work on Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after, Christmas day, New Year's day, memorial day, and fourth of july.
Watching TV (eg, while folding laundry) and listening to podcasts while not watching the kid is fine, and currently the kid is getting sent home 1-2 days a week. We hope as she adjusts that it will be less often.
