We are looking for a Household & Family Assistant
We're a family of five, plus a dog, who love Duluth, getting outdoors and traveling. We're looking for a Household & Family Assistant for about 20 hours a week. The job is a mix of keeping our home running smoothly, cleaning, tackling house projects, and spending one evening a week with our three kids (ages 5, 7 and 9).
You'll work closely with Sarah, who manages our household. We're looking for someone who takes real pride in a well-kept home, enjoys kids, and wants a steady, long-term role with a family that will appreciate them.
Schedule
We'll set a regular weekly schedule together, with some flexibility to fit the right person.
What we need
One evening a week with the kids, so we can have a date night.
At least one of Tuesday or Thursday morning; ideally both.
About 20 hours a week, though we're flexible for the right candidate.

My schedule is flexible but I do worry much about my child as tending to someone with ADS can be difficult, I’d really appreciate your patience in going places/ taking her to do activities as well as help her with her reading. She loves to draw and paint so arts and crafts are definitely within our household. I she is allergic to peanuts and certain antibiotics which I can explain further more in detail once we have a chat. I am willing to pay above my intended rate if necessary! I work as a security officer and my boyfriend works at a chemical plant. We need someone who is comfortable with cameras in our home as I am a first time mom and don’t trust many people. We can’t afford much but will pay the right person accordingly. Our baby will be 4 months old on August 24th 2022. She loves being held, snuggling, and sometimes can get pretty fussy. The hours we need a sitter would be from 2 pm to 9 pm. About 3 days a week.

We would be fine with a summer nanny and also occasionally ask for a 24 hour overnight shift at an agreed upon rate.

My husband works overnight at kwik trip across from our home. I also work at keik trip by the zoo in case of emergencies. Jameson our son, is a very energetic child who loves attention and wants to help anyway he can or just watch a Disney movie. Very well behaved for his age and entertains himself a lot. We do have a small dog and a cat that are both indoors and will possibly need to be let outside occasionally.
