A little bit about us

We recently moved to Franklin and are looking for someone who will be with us long-term. I’m a stay-at-home mom, and my husband works long hours and will be traveling back to the West Coast often. We have three kids — ages 9, 3, and 1 — who are fun, kind, and energetic. They love playing games, doing arts and crafts, and we’re hoping to find someone they can build a lasting bond with.

I’m hoping to find someone who can be a true mother’s helper — someone reliable who takes initiative, pitches in where needed (when it comes to the kids), and helps keep the kids schedules running smoothly.

A bit more about our family:
Our oldest is in 3rd grade, loves to read, learn fun facts, and is pretty independent. Our 3-year-old has some sensory sensitivities, and she does best with a caregiver who’s calm, attentive, and comfortable with close, hands-on supervision. Our youngest will be 2 in September, and he’s the life of the party. He’s cuddly and loves to eat. We also have two sweet senior dogs at home.

What we need:

• Experience with sensory processing differences or special needs care is a big plus.
• Reliable, dependable, and takes initiative without needing constant direction.
• Patient, attentive, and comfortable with close supervision.
• Reliable transportation + clean driving record.
• Calm under pressure, playful, and genuinely engaged.
• References.

Logistics:

• Start date: ASAP
• Schedule: Flexible. Looking for 3 days/week for 5 hours each day or 2 days/week for 8-9 hours each day.

My youngest, 18 months, will be the one home. On Wednesday, I will be at home doing schoolwork with my oldest and will need someone to help with my youngest. We also have a dog but there are no responsibilities associated with him. I will be in and out of the house during those times.
