Private Educator / Nanny – Two Young Boys

Private family in Spring, TX is seeking an experienced, long-term **Educator/Nanny** for two young boys. As the family transitions from private-school care toward a home-based educational environment, we are looking for someone who combines the warmth of an experienced nanny with the structure, initiative, and knowledge of an educator.

Schedule:
Thursday, Friday & Saturday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (30 hrs/week), with occasional additional hours available.

Responsibilities include providing attentive childcare, developing age-appropriate educational activities, supporting early literacy, language, numbers, motor skills, creativity, and critical thinking, and helping prepare the children for a future homeschool curriculum. Duties also include reading, crafts, outdoor learning, simple meal/snack preparation, children’s laundry, and maintaining organized bedrooms, play spaces, toys, clothing, stroller, feeding areas, and educational materials.

This is a Christian household, and we are seeking someone comfortable supporting Christian values and incorporating age-appropriate faith-based learning, Bible stories, prayer, character development, and Christian principles into daily routines.

A teaching background is strongly required. Ideal candidates may have experience in early childhood education, preschool/private school teaching, homeschool education, Montessori, or career nanny/governess work.

Applicants should have 10+ years of professional childcare, teaching, or combined experience, excellent references, reliable transportation, strong communication skills, and a mature, dependable approach.

This is a professional position. Caregivers may not bring their own children or dependents to work.

We are seeking someone proactive, discreet, organized, fully present, and interested in becoming a trusted long-term part of the family’s support system.

Our son is 1.5 years old and is very active, we want someone to do activities with him like coloring, painting, etc. take him outside to play and for walks.

Our newborn baby girl is 2 months. I work from home so will be mainly with her, but will need you to watch her while I have meetings, help change her diaper.

Other responsibilities will include:
-Warming up food for my soon, no cooking required.
-sanitizing and putting away toys
-folding and putting away the kids clothes (all will be washed)
-loading/ unloading dish washer
-keeping kitchen clean while you’re here, wipe down counters, high chair, table where kids eat.
-vacuum
