Single mother of one smart little boy. I am starting a new job that has me working in Portland within the hours of 3:30pm-9pm. I’m looking for someone who can be with my son at home and take care of his night routine until I return on weeknights.
Responsibilities might include;
Picking him up from preschool, which is up a few blocks away from our home.
Making dinner.
Light house cleaning.
Play with him.
Getting him ready for bed.
He is 4 and can have the typical bouts of energy but has always been well behaved (especially for others)! He doesn’t like getting in trouble, he gets pretty embarrassed, so he can be self aware or even shy at times. Once warmed up he’s a talker. We also have 2 sweet cats.

Our baby is due in December and I’m looking for a nanny to start care in May when I go back to work. I work from home so it would be someone to come here and hang with her on my busiest work days that are super meeting heavy (2-3 days a week to start and as she grows and we get more comfortable could then turn in to full time).
The position has the possibility to turn in to more hours as she gets older and as I get back in to the busy season. Plus if it’s a great fit we would want to partner with our nanny more for family outings or staying on long term.
We have two small dogs and a cat, so must be okay with animals. We also have a park right outside which is super cute and inviting so when she gets older you could go enjoy the nice weather.
