A little bit about us

We are a family of three, adding a fourth in Fall 2024. We are looking for a part time nanny, 4 hours per day, 5 days per week. We will need you to help get our older daughter ready and to school as well as transport her. Possibility of adding in afternoon hours which would include some light meal prep and pickup from school. Subject to discussion. The most important is someone who has experience with children, consistent and able to come in and be an extension of our family!

About us:
- We are a family of 3 plus a small dog located in Avondale

- Highly active; she loves being outside, animals, reading, coloring, and swimming

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Plan activities, read together, take her to nearby parks/library
- Food prep: prepare simple, healthy meals and snacks for a toddler
- Occasional transportation to/from Grandma's house in Orange Park
- Pet friendly: comfortable having a small dog around the house
- Long term fit: able to grow with our family over time

Requirements:
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- Non-smoker
- Reliable personal transportation
- Background in childcare with references
- Able to pass a background check

Prefer:
- 5+ years of childcare experience with ages 0-5
- Toddler development experience: prior experience navigating the 1–2-year age range (milestones, emotional regulation, potty training)
- Water friendly: We’d love someone who is comfortable in the water and able to bring our daughter in and around our pool
- Comfortable preparing clean, minimally processed meals/snacks
- Energetic & Outdoorsy: someone who genuinely enjoys being active and outside
- Background in early childhood education

Would love:
- Someone who speaks a second language fluently and can introduce it to our daughter
