Part-Time Nanny Job: The Dunlap Family with 1 Child
Hello! We are seeking a part time in home nanny (15-20 hrs/week) for our 2.5 year old daughter by the end of September/early October.
It’s really important for us to find someone who meshes well with our family and values. We’re a biracial home, advocates, and allies. We focus on teaching our daughter inclusivity and kindness. We are located in NE Grand Rapids- Creston area. Our last nanny family felt like extended family to us, and we’re really hoping to find another magical match!
Engagement/Care: We’re looking for someone with a desire to spend lots of time outdoors, fostering her imagination and curiosity. Montessori style teaching/engagement activities- she loves art, building materials, helping bake/cook, movement, etc. Outings each week in the community together- local parks, Frederick Meijer Garden, library, etc (we would provide $ for her). Socializing with other children, etc.
Hours: My husband works full time M-F in office. My hours and timing for childcare vary each week depending on my work meetings. Childcare hrs vary 15-20 per week, between M-TH (usually between the hrs of 9:30am and 4:30pm). I typically send my schedule out the week prior for the upcoming week. No holidays expected or weekends!
Pay: $20-$23 depending on experience.

We are looking for an experienced nanny for our 3 month old daughter, Jasmyn. We currently live in a 2BR apt in downtown GR and my wife works from home. The plan is to buy a home in the Grand Rapids area sometime this summer. We are looking for someone to start in early April as that is when my mom will be leaving us. It is important that our nanny have a great deal of experience with newborns. Primary responsibilities will consist of getting her down for naps, feeding, changing, and play time. While Jasmyn is asleep, we would ask that you help out around the apt with light housekeeping (doing dishes, folding laundry, etc). Currently, we are looking for 3 days a week (Tues, weds, and Thurs 8am-4pm) but would consider full time. Happy to pay cash. Newborn care in a few months when maternity leave is over and we return to normal working hours! Minimum to no additional responsibilities aside from keeping our baby happy, safe, and watched. We have a dog, but he doesn’t require any care throughout the day.
