We are seeking an experienced, nurturing, and proactive nanny to care for our toddler.
Schedule: 20 hours per week to start, with the opportunity to increase to up to 35 hours per week in 2027.
Location: Upper East Side, candidates should live within an easy and reliable commute.
Responsibilities
Provide attentive, hands-on care for our toddler, creating a fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment through play, reading, creative activities, and learning opportunities.
No Screens or Phones: We maintain a strict no-screen-time policy for the children. Personal phone use while on duty should be limited to emergencies and essential communications with the parents.
Potty Training: Actively support and reinforce potty-training routines with patience, consistency, and encouragement.
Plan and accompany our toddler to age-appropriate classes, activities, parks, libraries, and other enriching experiences around the city.
Prepare, nutritious meals and snacks for the children and assist with family meal prep as needed.
Handle children's laundry, keep the playroom and children's bathroom clean and organized
Assist with grocery shopping and other household errands as needed.
Flexibility: Work collaboratively with the family to accommodate occasional evening and weekend needs.
Ideal Candidate
Has a background or demonstrated experience in child development, early childhood education, infant care, or a related field.
Is knowledgeable about toddler milestones, potty training, infant care, and age-appropriate activities.
Enjoys planning educational outings and creating stimulating, screen-free activities that encourage learning, creativity, movement, and exploration.
Values hands-on engagement and remains fully present with the children.
Is willing to assist with light household tasks and family-related errands.

Full-Time Nanny Job: The Reichert Family with 1 Child
Hello--we are looking for a nanny for our four year old daughter, Paige. She is in half-day school this year, approximately four blocks from our apartment, from 12:15-3pm, and pick-up/drop-off would be needed. On top of this, she has a few afterschool activities. We would probably want coverage from around 10am-5pm on weekdays. The house has dogs, but pet care would not be expected.

Full-Time Nanny Job: The L Family with 2 Children
Hi! I’m looking for a true nanny who is super organized / neat / is a good cook (this is imperative). Start date is Sept 8 which is the first day of school! The job includes arriving at my apartment (west village) around 12 PM and doing laundry, straightening up in the apartment, running local errands and making dinner for that night. The next step would be picking up the two boys at school on the upper west side at 3:20pm and taking them to their after-school sport. After sports, you would bring them home, feed them dinner, get them showered / started on homework. Most importantly our family is looking for someone that is super reliable, a good communicator (with both me and the kids), fun and a *good cook* (not just able to prepare Mac and cheese and chicken nuggets). Hi there! I need a nanny who can help with my baby girl, who is now 3 months old while I return to work with a flexible schedule. I would need a nanny, Monday to Wednesday, from 7 am until 5 pm. I do not have any pets and you are not expected to do any chores other than wash and sterilize my baby’s bottles (which I will always leave ready for use in the beginning of the day when you arrive, but then after use they will need to be sterilized) as well as mark down her feeding time in a notebook I keep so it’s easier to track her feeding times and how much she will eat.
