Part-Time Nanny Job: The Crossland Family with 1 Child
We are looking for a great nanny for 1 child in Portland. We would prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping. We would prefer a nanny who has their own car, who is comfortable with pets and who is CPR certified. We are looking for someone to start 1 day a week until both parents return to work. We will then need someone 2 days a week for approximately 8-11 hours, the days can be discussed between nanny and parents. Baby is learning Spanish, Spanish speaking is not required but helpful. Would like to offer a paid trial day for a few hours. Only serious inquiries and please provide 2-3 references.
Full-Time Nanny Job: The Dalgaard Family with 2 Children
Looking for a FAMILY to join our nanny share - Nanny already in place!
About the nanny (Kelsey): I have a degree in child development and psychology from Cal Poly SLO, four years of experience as a lead teacher in infant/toddler classrooms, and four years of experience as a nanny, primarily in a share set-up. I feel most connected to the RIE pedagogy and have a “gentle parenting” approach to caregiving. I prioritize connection, warmth, and silliness, as well as maintaining developmentally appropriate, firm, and loving boundaries. I’m very comfortable with the daily rhythms of infant care and am happy to work with you and your child to settle into a routine that works for all of us!
About the other family: Parents both work hybrid schedules and will be home part-time. Baby H will be close to five months when we start. We are still getting to know his personality, but so far he is pretty happy, smiley and content to go with the flow. His older sibling is five years old and starting kindergarten. She is silly, sweet, and independent, and we’re planning for her to join the share at the end of the day when she gets home from school (around 2:45).
About you: We’re hoping you have a child who will be 4-8 months come October and are excited to have a new baby buddy! It’s important to us that the kids are vaccinated, we are all proactive communicators with each other, and you are looking for ~1 year commitment.
Logistics: H’s family would like to host. We’re looking to start October 5, and are open to a later start date or ramp up for the other family until November. The current plan is M-Th, 9-5, with options for Friday care now or in the future (let’s chat about your needs). Pay is $18/hour per infant (via payroll service, guaranteed hours, plus sick leave, holidays, and PTO), and Harry and Stacey pay all additional costs when big sister joins in the afternoon. Please reach out if you’re interested in chatting more about whether this could be a good fit.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Davis Family with 1 Child
Our 7 month old, Emma, is a very happy, smiley baby. Loves to eat, a good sleeper and loves to play with her toys and roll around. We have a Golden Retriever, Zeus, who will ask for pets and snuggles on the couch. My husband and I both work from home in our upstairs office, so no pet care will be needed. We are also expecting our second child in late March, so in the future we will need someone to watch a toddler and infant.
We are looking for someone to watch Emma 2-3 days a week, starting in October. Would love someone Tuesdays and Thursdays 7AM-2PM but we could do Mon-Wed if you are wanting more hours. Right now she is eating one meal of solid foods per day but still primarily formula fed.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Miller Family with 1 Child
We have one daughter who is 6 weeks old. We will need care starting in January for the remainder of the school year (she will be 6 months old then). My husband and I are both teachers, and are raising our daughter to be bilingual in English and Spanish. We require that our nanny only speak Spanish with our daughter. We are hoping to start a nanny share with at least one other child of similar age so that our daughter can interact with other babies and socialize more. We are first time parents so this is all new to us, but we are excited to meet a wonderful nanny!
Part-Time Nanny Job: The Carlson Family with 1 Child
My husband is in his third year of dental school and I am a full-time work from home mom. Our daughter is 2 years old. The older she gets the harder it is to give her the attention and interaction she deserves during the day while I am working at home. I would love to find the perfect nanny share opportunity where my daughter can spend time with other kids/adults during the day (2-3 days a week) instead of being cooped up at home all day while I work. We are an easy-going family, outdoorsy, and flexible!
Part-Time Nanny Job: The North Family with 1 Child
We need regular or occasional care, Mondays and Wednesdays, plus some evenings and last minute dates might come up.
Part-Time Nanny Job: The Durkin Family with 2 Children
Two active boys. Love to be outside. Not into crafts.
Full-Time Nanny Job: The Cromwell Family with 2 Children
Our little family relocated from Seattle to SE Portland (Creston/Woodstock area) recently and are excited to get to know our new neighborhood. We are looking for Monday thru Friday 8-5 care for our 1 year old girl. We also have an almost 4 year old who will join the nanny share full time during the summer, then 3:30-5:00 during the school year.
Part-Time Nanny Job: The Green Family with 1 Child
My husband and I are looking for a native Spanish speaker to watch our 1 year old girl and speak and engage with her in Spanish only. We live in NE Portland (which we love!) and we love to spend lots of time with family and friends and travel whenever we can. We are looking for a full-time M-TH 930am-4pm (times flexible), live-out nanny. Our ideal nanny would be positive, warm, affectionate and proactively help our child to develop her heart and mind through talking, teaching, reading, singing and engaging in creative and fun developmental and physical activities. They would also be patient and compassionate but will impose structure and work with us to maintain a consistent eating and napping schedule. We would prefer to nanny share if possible with one other child of similar age and with a family with similar nanny goals, needs and wants.
