We are a family of five living in Huntsville, AL, looking for a reliable, caring, and engaging nanny to help care for our three wonderful children (ages 9, 4, and 20 months). Our ideal nanny will become an integral part of our daily routine, supporting our kids’ growth and well-being while maintaining a structured yet flexible schedule.
Responsibilities:
• Provide attentive care for our 20-month-old, including meal prep, diaper changes, and engaging activities.
• Assist with homeschooling our 9- and 4-year-olds, including supporting lesson plans, reading, and hands-on activities.
• Organize and lead engaging activities for all children, including outdoor play, STEM projects, and creative arts.
• Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children.
• Help with light housekeeping related to the kids (e.g., tidying up toys, dishes, and occasional laundry).
• Ensure the children follow their daily routines, including meal times, nap schedules, and evening routines.
• Foster a positive, safe, and educational environment.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience as a nanny, teacher, or caregiver for children of various ages.
• Strong understanding of child development and learning styles.
• Patience, flexibility, and creativity in engaging with children.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to accommodate a flexible schedule for travel.
Schedule:
This position is part-time with some flexibility. We need support during weekday mornings and afternoons, with occasional evening or weekend availability.
