A little bit about us

My partner and I work in Chappaqua and we're doing our best to find a sitter to help us out Tuesday through Friday 3:00pm - 5:30pm but will pay till 6:00pm. We need someone that is able to pick her up from the bus and sit with her for those two and a half hours. She's independent, sweet, loving, and also imaginative. We would like someone to sit with her while she draws, read, or watches her KidsYouTube . We can also use someone on the weekends if we need a date night or two. We’re looking for a warm, caring, and dependable person to help care for our sweet 3-month-old daughter on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:00 AM–6:00 PM, beginning September 29.

We’d love to find someone who genuinely enjoys caring for infants and is looking to become a trusted, familiar person in our daughter’s life. Infant experience is important to us, and we’re hoping to find someone who is patient, attentive, nurturing, and comfortable caring for a young baby.

During the day, responsibilities will primarily include:

Feeding and diapering

Tummy time and age-appropriate play
Keeping baby’s areas tidy and cleaning up after baby as needed

We also have a sweet cat and a Goldendoodle, so being comfortable and friendly with pets is a must. No pet care beyond letting the dog out for a quick afternoon potty break is required.

We’re looking for someone who:

Has previous infant/young baby experience
Is CPR/First Aid certified
Is reliable, responsible, and punctual
Is warm, patient, and attentive
Is comfortable around dogs and cats
Is a non-smoker
Is comfortable with light baby-related housekeeping/tidying

Pay: $25–$27/hour, depending on experience.

We are seeking a nanny to start caring for our daughter in Danbury CT, and if its a good fit, they can continue this role when we find our permanent home.
