Full-Time Nanny Job: The Shanker Family with 1 Child
Looking for a nanny for one infant in Annandale.
Mom is going back to work in a week, so we would love to find someone to start ASAP. Hours are approx. from 1pm-7p.m. M-F, with occasional weekends or later evenings when Dad travels for work.
Household has three other adults who often work from home. They can assist in any urgent or emergency situation, but are not able to help with child care.
We have a small dog and two cats. The dog is initially reactive, but warms up fast and is very sweet once he is used to you.
We hope to find someone long-term, in which case timing may shift next year to include morning help and/or daycare pickup.

Hello! We are parents to a 1 month old baby girl named Maya and are seeking a part time live out nanny as I prepare to go back to work the first week of October. Hello! My name is Angela and I’m looking for a nanny share for my son Micah. He’s 2 1/2 and amazing!!! Im working on potty training him now but since it’s just me and I work it’s been hard to stay as consistent Ashe needs it to be- although he is catching on fast!! I have my own business cleaning so I wouldn’t be here during the day. I have a 6 1/2 year old daughter named Kayla who’s here every other week but she’s in school so you wouldn’t have to worry about her. Basically don’t want to deal with the high cost of daycares and the headache of jumping through loops to keep him non- vaccinated. We do have a cat but no other pets. If for any reason you wouldn’t be able to make it due to emergency or illness it’s not a problem my dad lives around the corner and can watch him- he’s warching him now and as much as I love me dad he’s just not... no. It would only be during the week- no weekends and never past 5. I would prefer a nanny share situation as money is tight and I’m open to bringing him to another house or having a child come to mine.
