$18/hr
3 year old girl

A little bit about us

Charlie is a sweet 3.5 year old who loves unicorns, arts & crafts, dancing and singing. She’s fully potty trained, has no food allergies and no longer naps.

I’m a newly single mom needing help with childcare if her dad is unavailable to care for her while I work.

No pet care is needed but know that we do have a very friendly, mostly indoor cat, King Simon.

I meal prep beforehand so cooking is minimal and mostly just reheating whatever is already made up!

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Crossland Family with 1 Child

We are looking for a great nanny for 1 child in Portland. We would prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping. We would prefer a nanny who has their own car, who is comfortable with pets and who is CPR certified. We are looking for someone to start 1 day a week until both parents return to work. We will then need someone 2 days a week for approximately 8-11 hours, the days can be discussed between nanny and parents. Baby is learning Spanish, Spanish speaking is not required but helpful. Would like to offer a paid trial day for a few hours. Only serious inquiries and please provide 2-3 references.

Full-Time Nanny Job: The Dalgaard Family with 2 Children

Looking for a FAMILY to join our nanny share - Nanny already in place!

About the nanny (Kelsey): I have a degree in child development and psychology from Cal Poly SLO, four years of experience as a lead teacher in infant/toddler classrooms, and four years of experience as a nanny, primarily in a share set-up. I feel most connected to the RIE pedagogy and have a “gentle parenting” approach to caregiving. I prioritize connection, warmth, and silliness, as well as maintaining developmentally appropriate, firm, and loving boundaries. I’m very comfortable with the daily rhythms of infant care and am happy to work with you and your child to settle into a routine that works for all of us!

About the other family: Parents both work hybrid schedules and will be home part-time. Baby H will be close to five months when we start. We are still getting to know his personality, but so far he is pretty happy, smiley and content to go with the flow. His older sibling is five years old and starting kindergarten. She is silly, sweet, and independent, and we’re planning for her to join the share at the end of the day when she gets home from school (around 2:45).

About you: We’re hoping you have a child who will be 4-8 months come October and are excited to have a new baby buddy! It’s important to us that the kids are vaccinated, we are all proactive communicators with each other, and you are looking for ~1 year commitment.

Logistics: H’s family would like to host. We’re looking to start October 5, and are open to a later start date or ramp up for the other family until November. The current plan is M-Th, 9-5, with options for Friday care now or in the future (let’s chat about your needs). Pay is $18/hour per infant (via payroll service, guaranteed hours, plus sick leave, holidays, and PTO), and Harry and Stacey pay all additional costs when big sister joins in the afternoon. Please reach out if you’re interested in chatting more about whether this could be a good fit.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Davis Family with 1 Child

Our 7 month old, Emma, is a very happy, smiley baby. Loves to eat, a good sleeper and loves to play with her toys and roll around. We have a Golden Retriever, Zeus, who will ask for pets and snuggles on the couch. My husband and I both work from home in our upstairs office, so no pet care will be needed. We are also expecting our second child in late March, so in the future we will need someone to watch a toddler and infant.

We are looking for someone to watch Emma 2-3 days a week, starting in October. Would love someone Tuesdays and Thursdays 7AM-2PM but we could do Mon-Wed if you are wanting more hours. Right now she is eating one meal of solid foods per day but still primarily formula fed.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Hill Family with 2 Children

Hello! I have 2 kids a 1 year old and a 2 year old. They are great kids. They love to play, watch cartoons, go outside, and color. The hours are just for 2 days January 22nd and 23rd from 6:30am-5:00pm. I will have breakfast ready for them and lunch will just need to be warmed up. Also snacks as well. They do need to be put down for a nap after lunch. They usually go down for about 1.5-2 hours. After they wake up we just play.
