Part Time Nanny Needed For Infant- Opportunity To Convert To FT

Oakland based family seeking nanny for our 2-month-old, A- looking to start with part time for a 12 week period, with the opportunity to convert to full time thereafter.

My husband and I both work from home, and will be around during the day. He's going back to work full time soon, so we're looking for help caring for our son A in the afternoons. A's very easygoing, and on a consistent schedule. Responsibilities are solely infant care (feeding, burping, changing diapers and putting him down for naps) so I can have the afternoon free to pump, exercise, handle housework/errands, etc.

Opportunity to convert to FT thereafter, if open to doing a nannyshare with another couple we know whose baby is a similar age.

Must be comfortable with pets! We have two very sweet, gentle, friendly dogs (goldendoodle and a pomeranian).

- Trash/recycling day — bins out and back in
- Laundry for the household — washing, drying, folding, putting away
- Meal prep for the family
- Grocery list management and/or grocery runs
- Light tidying/organizing common areas
- Seasonal closet swaps/decluttering

**Other Tasks**
- General errands (pharmacy, dry cleaning, returns, package drop-offs)
- Calendar/schedule coordination for the family
- Restocking household basics (paper towels, toiletries, pantry staples)
- Communicating with family on logistics
- Light home upkeep (watering plants, bringing in mail/packages)

**Ideal candidate:**
- Reliable and punctual, comfortable with a flexible schedule
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (for driving kids)
- very Organized, proactive, comfortable managing multiple tasks
- Experience with kids and/or household management a plus

We would not expect the nanny to take care of our dog, we would take full responsibility of her and all of her needs as well as make sure she is away from the baby and nanny whenever needed. My husband and I currently work from home due to covid. We are very covid conscious since our daughter is so young and hope to find someone who is as well (we are vaccinated, boosted and very careful).
