Babysitter Job: The A Family with 1 Child
We’re a loving family looking for a wonderful nanny to care for our young child. We’re hoping to find someone warm, dependable, engaged, and experienced who genuinely enjoys spending their days with little ones and is looking for a great long-term fit.
We’d love someone who enjoys getting out for walks, classes, library visits, and other activities, while also being happy spending slower days playing and hanging out at home. We value open communication and want our nanny to feel comfortable bringing their own experience, ideas, and personality to the role.
Travel is part of our family’s lifestyle, so we’re especially looking for someone who genuinely enjoys traveling and would be excited to join us on family trips. Travel is planned in advance and all expenses are covered.
We’re looking for approximately 40–45 hours per week and are open to both live-out and live-in arrangements. Prior professional childcare experience, comfort driving with a child and around dogs, up-to-date vaccinations, and willingness to travel are important to us.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Lambert Family with 2 Children
Our family is looking for a long-term nanny for our 2 children. Our 3-year-old is active, creative, independent, and an absolute joy. She loves conversation, is physically advanced, and keeps things fun. Our 8-month-old is joyful, active (nearly walking), with a wonderfully predictable schedule. What you'll do: Play, engage, and support learning through developmental activities. School drop off and pick-ups using family vehicle. Reheat homemade meals. Give bottles for the baby (mom pumps and preps them ahead of time ) After taking a break, if there is time, some organization, dishes, laundry during nap windows. We are in our early 30's and have a biological 11.5 month old girl, and two adopted sons, ages 8 and 11. We recently moved to Raleigh, NC to be closer to family but would really benefit from having some extra help on a day to day basis. We also have two dogs, one that is 3 years old and one that is 10 years old. My husband and I are both licensed clinical social workers who work in the mental health field. My husband works at a local hospital and works 13 hour days on Thursdays and Fridays, as well as 13 hours days every other weekend. He also works in private practice on the days he is not at the hospital during the week, Monday - Wednesday. Typically he is working from home, sporadically, on Monday mornings. I work in private practice 4 days a week for about 3-5 hours a day, and while I am mostly in the office I may be working from home on Fridays or as I am able. My sons will be in summer camp or at school most days but would be home on holidays, or if they are sick. They typically would be home around 4 PM on days they go to camp or are in school. My daughter would need care 2 mornings a week. We think having an extra person around times of transition during the afternoon, dinner and bedtime routines would be very helpful. We have two big family rooms full of games, crafts, books and activities for you to use to engage the kids as well as a big back yard to play in. We have a great neighborhood to walk in or ride bikes, the that has a nearby pool and pond to fish in. We live close to downtown Raleigh and are close to lots of shopping, food, cultural events and historic places as well as great parks, rivers and lakes to get a taste of the country and outdoors as well. Our two boys do have a history of trauma and diagnosed ADHD, as well as Anxiety. We are looking for someone who is patient but also energetic to help us meet their needs.

Hi there, out son Keith James is 19 months, and extremely active. He is very funny and he loves being an independent child as long as me ( his mommy) isn’t in eyesight.
We will need someone to watch KJ most Monday, Tuesday, and Friday evenings 3pm until 7pm. And occasionally we will need coverage on Saturday 5pm-8pm.
We really like to keep KJ on a time scheduled regiment . So we will have a schedule for his evening meals and usually I will have it already prepared. We are trying to incorporate Montessori learning so to further his development so we want our nanny to be able to help with his learning and play along with him as well as read and incorporate flash cards. He is beginning potty training so ideally whoever we end up working with will need to help with this process and will need to be comfortable with this. We ask that you look after Keith in our home or yard. You won’t need to travel with Keith or do pickups at this time.
