A little bit about us

New parents looking for an experienced nanny who will be available part-time (likely 27 hours weekly split between Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) to care for a four month old beginning in November 2021. We would like to have “try out” days before November to see how we all work together. Seeking someone who is safty-minded, patient, kind, and fluent in Spanish. We are an English-speaking family, but would like for our child to receive care from a Spanish-speaking person in order to expose him to another language. We do not need meal prep or housework outside of things that directly involve the baby. We will require references.

We are looking for a family to take our spot in our nanny share set up. Our 2 y/o son is heading off to daycare and we will have a spot in our nanny share. Our nanny is absolutely wonderful, I can’t say enough great things about her. She’s got two young kids herself, a 6 year old (in school) and an almost 3 year old. Currently, our son goes to her house (Hyattsville in the Woodlawn area) with the other nanny share child (who will be 2 in March), and she takes care of them and her son. They have a nice little group. Each child sleeps in their own room and if we forget lunch, she gives our son rice and beans. We also send him off with a carton of eggs every other week and she makes him breakfast in the morning. She also provides fruit for snacks throughout the day, has a big back yard where the kids play, and she speaks Spanish to the kids.

She’s looking for full time or close to full time hours. We currently do M-Th 8-4 but she can do more. Pay is between $16-$18/hr, she drives (often she even picks him ups and drops him back off), and start date is anytime between now and end of December, so it’s very flexible.
