Full-Time Nanny Job: The Tungate Family with 1 Child
Loyal Nanny Needed – December 2026
📍 Location: Poway, Scripps Ranch, 4S Ranch, Carmel Valley, or Torrey Highlands, San Diego
We are a loving family seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and nurturing nanny for our baby girl, who will be 5 months old in December! We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves working with infants, is attentive, engaging, and prioritizes safety, cleanliness, and development.
Schedule & Compensation
* Start Date: December 2026
* Monday–Friday, 8 AM–2 PM
* 30 hours/week to start
* $22-27/hour based on experience
Responsibilities
* Provide loving, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care
* Actively engage through play, reading, tummy time, and age-appropriate activities during wake windows
* Manage bottle feedings and assist with introducing solid foods
* Follow established feeding, nap, and daily routines
* Practice excellent hygiene, including handwashing before handling baby, bottles, and food
* Wash bottles, tidy play areas, and keep baby’s spaces clean and organized
* Prioritize infant safety and safe sleep practices
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years of infant care experience
* Reliable, trustworthy, patient, nurturing, and communicative
* Infant CPR and First Aid certified
* Knowledge of infant development and safety
* Willing to provide references from previous families
* Comfortable with a parent working from home
* Dog-friendly (we have a French Bulldog!)

We are still working out exact timing and hours, but we are considering both part time and full time options. Ideally, we would need someone to watch her during the week around 9 am - 4 pm or so based on our work schedules.
We do have pets (a cat and a dog - both are very friendly and self-sufficient), but would not expect pet care services.

I work part time so I’m looking for someone that can accommodate to my schedule I usually work Tuesday thru Friday and every other Saturday. Hours vary from enter time being 11am-1pm thru 9/10pm depending on the day. I work long hours and my husband and i tend to work from home at times but our work runs well into the evening so we need someone that is comfortable with staying late. We also have 2 small dogs that are crate trained and potty trained.
