Full-Time Nanny Job: The Vashishta Family with 1 Child
We are looking for a loving, reliable and experienced nanny for first baby, a little boy named Kiaan who will be 6 months old when care begins.
DETAILS
Location: West Loop (near Skinner, with plenty of parking!)
Start Date: January 2027
Schedule: M-F, between 8am-5pm
Employment: W-2 position with guaranteed 40 hours, plus overtime at 1.5X hourly rate
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide loving, attentive care for our baby
- Plan age-appropriate activities that support his development
- Support naps, feeding and daily routine
- Handle bottles, baby dishes and baby laundry
- Take him on outings and activities outside the home
- Keep his space clean and organized
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience caring for infants
- Warm, patient, dependable and attentive
- Strong communication skills and references
- Up to date on vaccinations
- Non-smoker
- Current infant and child CPR/first-aid certification
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
A NOTE ABOUT OUR FAMILY
My husband and I work from home some days, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable caring for a baby in a home where a parent is present.
We also have a very friendly dog Simba, a mini goldendoodle who loves people.

The twins are in daycare very close to our house and I intend to keep them in daycare so they are gone from around 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. (unless they are sick) or Saturday. Duties for the right candidate including. Breakfast, getting them ready for school and walking them to school. Cleaning, grocery shopping & cooking in the house while they are gone. Picking the kids up 4:30 pm, then helping with School & play time and taking them to Dance class, and other activities. Other attributes will be teaching discipline, hygiene, and family values. Putting them to bed between 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm. If Live In Accommodation will consist of 1 bedroom apartment style basement with kitchen, tv lounge independent entrance. Only Serious inquires which have the skill set and a way to deal with kids with lots of energy.
