Part-Time Nanny Job: The Sarmiento Family with 1 Child

$17/hr

6 - 11 month old girl

A little bit about us

We’re looking for a part-time nanny and household assistant to help care for our 16-month-old daughter, our sweet cat, and support us in keeping our home running smoothly.

We’re starting with Saturdays from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with the opportunity to add more hours in the future.

This role combines childcare with light house management duties. Our ideal fit is someone who enjoys working with toddlers and also takes pride in keeping a home clean and organized.

Responsibilities include:
- Caring for and playing with our toddler (she loves helping with simple tasks!)
- Meal prep for the family and child
- Light housekeeping: tidying, dishes, sweeping/vacuuming, emptying trash
- Running and folding laundry (baby and family)
- Occasional errands or organizing projects
- Cat care (feeding and basic litter box scooping)

We’re a warm, busy household—I'm a working mom with two full-time jobs—so we’re looking for someone reliable, proactive, detail-oriented, and nurturing. Spanish-speaking is a plus but not required. COVID vaccination is required. We’re an LGBTQ+ friendly and open-minded family and welcome applicants who share those values.

If you're experienced with both childcare and home management—and love working with little ones—we’d love to connect!
