Full-Time Nanny Job: The Williams Family with 1 Child
NOT looking for a nanny. We are looking for another family to join our established, full-time nanny share!
The share is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, and each family pays $18/hr. Start date is flexible, as early as Sep 14.
Our son is about 16 months old, and our nanny started taking care of him when he was three months old. We've loved operating as a two-kid share during the time, but the other little girl whose spot you'd be taking is leaving for preschool.
We feel so lucky to have our nanny--she's super engaged with the kids, keeps them very active each day with outings to parks/library/rec center, and is very proactive about communication with us. She has 9 years of childcare experience (in daycare and as a nanny). She was a nurse in El Salvador and first worked as a Certified Medical Assistant when she came to the US. She's also CPR and First Aid certified and trained in ABA.

Although we try to be as consistent as possible with our schedules, because I work jobs that are with kids, I am asked to fill in for dance classes or do make up piano lessons at times. We will always give as much notice as possible and try to minimize disruption to your schedule.
Approximate regular schedule:
Mondays: 8:30-6
Tuesdays: 2:30-6
Wednesdays: 11:30-6
Thursdays: 8:30-5
Fridays: 11:30-5

We will also need additional help on Oct 19, 20, and 21 (8:30-6) as I will be out of town.

We are looking for a nanny who is bilingual in Spanish to help ensure we continue his exposure to speaking and understanding Spanish consistent. I will have maternity leave for about 3/4 months so we are hoping to begin introducing him to his care around 2 months or so.
We are open to seeing what options the nanny has available for his care - safety and the health of his exposure to things are a big priority to us.
