A little bit about us

We seeking a long-term nanny. We are seeking someone who can create a very fun environment for our girl. She's incredibly smart and we want to make sure she's appropriately challenged, but most importantly laughing as much as possible.

My husband and I are very down to earth. We love people hope that our home would be a welcoming place that our nanny finds comfortable and affirming.

Our daughter is on a good nap schedule and has open toddler-proofed spaces upstairs and downstairs with lots of toys and activities to keep engaged all day.We do allow a bit of screen time as long as you're interactive with her. Mornings will be full with her, but afternoons are more restful. We work from home, so we eat lunch (your lunch break) with her daily at noon and then she naps at 1:00 for 1-2 hours. We ask for small tasks to be completed, but our nanny usually has at least 90 free minutes per day. We have a private guest room and bathroom for nanny use with a TV and comfy recliner.

Our boys are very playful and enjoy playing with Hot Wheels, playing sports and games, doing arts and crafts, as well as pretend play like cooking in their play kitchen or dressing up in superhero costumes. In addition, there will be times where you will need to prep basic meals and/or snacks for the boys but we do not expect you to do additional chores or tasks around our house. Both boys are potty trained. We also have two friendly dogs which you may need to let outside occasionally.

We hope to find someone who has weekend availability and potentially some week night availability. Pay will depend on experience and we may do a background check as well. At this time, care will just be provided in our home but could work toward helping with pickup and drop off at preschool and camps in the future.

We are looking for an occasional nanny for when we go on vacations or short weekend get away. We have no family here and need the assistance. We travel once a month in the summer. This will be an overnight job typically for 4-7 days in duration. Dallas is in preschool and will attend preschool everyday from 8am-4pm Monday - Friday, so you'll have day times to relax. The other times will be full time with the toddler.

We have one small 5 year old, mini golden doodle who is well trained and will be in the home.
