Warm, Steady, Organized Full-Time Nanny for Playful Toddler in Santa Barbara
We are a loving family settling into Santa Barbara this October and seeking a warm, experienced, and dependable nanny for our sweet, playful 16-month-old daughter.
Location: Santa Barbara, CA (Live-out)
Start Date: Monday, October 19, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, ~40 guaranteed hours/week (Preferred: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM; alternatively 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM also works well), Part-time from 8:00 AM -2:00 PM could work
Compensation: $30 to $40/hr DOE + paid holidays & PTO
This is a peaceful home full of joy, laughter, and kindness. Both parents work from home but are entirely comfortable staying out of the main living space if our nanny prefers. Each parent will work in separate offices out of earshot from the main living space so volume during playtime is not an issue. They are also comfortable stepping in to help our nanny if a break is needed. Both parents are calm, quiet, and friendly.
Daily stroller walks, backyard playtime, and visits to local parks (i.e. the Mission) within easy walking distance are a central part of the day, along with fun, screen-free playtime. Comfortable running basic household or child-related errands during times when parents have taken over care with the baby.
Core Focus: Engaging, age-appropriate toddler play, maintaining a predictable nap and meal routine, toddler meal/snack prep, and light child-related assistance (tidying play areas, child laundry).
Family Assistant potential: Running errands for family if there is extra time (not a must have!) such as picking up groceries, meal deliveries or organizing.
Ideal Background:
Calm, nurturing, communicative, and organized.
Experienced with active 1-to-2-year-olds.
CPR & First Aid certified, non-smoker, reliable transportation.
If this sounds like a great fit for your style and availability, we would love to connect for an introductory phone or video call!

Looking for someone to watch my twin 3.5 yr old boys in Santa Barbara and drive them to Santa Ynez. I’m looking for just a few days to start mostly picking up the boys and transferring them to school and to their mom’s. Maybe 10hrs a week mostly Wed afternoons and Sunday mornings if possible.
Live-In Part-Time Nanny Job: The Fox Family with 1 Child
Kaylor is our very bright and energetic 8 month old! He loves being in the spotlight and entertaining those around him. He’s very receptive and has a contagious laugh. He is a very easy going child but because he loves life, he naturally does not like falling asleep. The biggest learning curve for him is learning how to put him down for naps, but other than that, he has an easy time feeding and playing!
He needs to be hung out with from 8am-1pm Monday through Friday. We are flexible on the location (our house or yours). He’s good with dogs and cats if you have any, and he loves being outdoors. He gets bored easily when he is inside doing the same activity for too long, so as long as you can switch things up like taking him on a walk, going for a drive, reading to him, or just including him with your activities, he will be very happy!
