A little bit about us
Teddy is on the spectrum (ASD, delayed language) so we need someone comfortable with supporting him with toileting and other basic tasks. He loves to play outside and hang out, and he has an easy disposition and cute sense of humor.
Bernie is a huge personality and will become your new best friend. He loves imaginative play, games, music, and will sing a full set for you. He likes to read and color too.
Sunday gig is usually 9am-2pm starting in August and the time involves snacks and lunch (all pre-prepped), nap time for Bernie, and spending time with both boys at our home through the early afternoon.

Types of Weekend Nanny Jobs and Responsibilities
Weekend nanny jobs range from a regular weekly shift to a handful of planned weekends a year. Some are a few hours on a Saturday afternoon, and others are a full day or an overnight. Responsibilities can include meals, play and outings, nap and bedtime routines, and light tidying related to the children. Read each posting for the dates, hours, and expectations before you reply.
How to Interview for Weekend Nanny Jobs
Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is a nanny job interview. Here are some questions you should ask:
- Which weekends and hours do you need, and is the schedule regular?
- How much notice will you give me for one-off weekends?
- Will I be at your home, or taking the children to activities and outings?
- How will I be paid, and by what day?
- What are the children's ages and routines?
Beyond asking these questions, families will want you to have your nanny references ready and ask any questions to show initiative. The nanny job interview is an excellent opportunity to get aligned on the nanny job expectations. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
