Born in Washington DC as the only girl of 4 brothers with a big family, I was always the sibling/family member who was left to babysit and care for the kids at a very young age. Growing up, that became a huge factor in my drive to potentially teach and care for kids in a way they should while in those large settings where they probably feel the most alone because that’s how It felt for me. Having to be the support for myself at a young age really inspires you to be that for others and that’s just where I’m at right now.
