More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am the oldest of three children so I grew up caring for my two younger sisters on a regular basis. I have also provided basic English and writing skills tutoring throughout high school. Outside of my current childcare work I also remain closely involved with youth outreach programs within my community.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy leading art activities and believe in allowing children to learn through play! I am familiar with different child development milestones and like to engage children in building confidence through indoor and outdoor play. Some of my favorite activities to lead with child groups include sing-alongs, sensory play, and dramatic play.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe that engaging with children where they are and allowing them to build confidence in themselves is crucial to caregiving. Children deserve care and respect - and part of working with them is providing a space where they feel heard and understood.

My experience with special needs children...

I have limited experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum and have a basic understanding of AAC devices.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have really bonded with the children I have worked for over the years, but my most memorable moment was receiving a Christmas card from one of the 2 year olds I was a primary caregiver for.
