More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
During my freshman year in university, I worked at a K-8 after-school program through the Federal Work Study Program. In this role, I collaborated with my supervisors to conduct STEM lessons and worked with my peers to supervise large groups of children. While I had experience babysitting and nannying prior to this position, I truly learned how to properly care for a substantial number of children at once and made meaningful connections with a number of families.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Educational trips such as the Science Center or children's museums, imaginative play, visiting parks and playgrounds, scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, and playing sports!

My family has done foster care for over 9 years. I am very experienced with children of all ages and with children that have some medical needs such as g tubes and tracheas. I was a daycare teacher for about 2 years and then switched over to being a registered behavioral technician for children that have autism. I have always enjoyed working with children and love to be the light in their life when they are sad or having a rough day.

Full-Time Child Care Provider Available in St. Louis, MO: Stephanie P.
My name is Stephanie but most little angels call me Stephie. I have worked with special needs kiddos for about 21 years. Working with these beautiful souls is truly my passion and I am so lucky to have found something I love so immensely! I am a very positive, energetic, loving, reliable, patient, flexible, hard working, and open minded person. I started out doing ABA when I was 20 years old. Since then I've worked in school settings as well as doing residential work/nanny/life skills. I've also worked with kiddos who are medically complex, more specifically CHARGE Syndrome. I have experience with tube feeding and BAHA listening devices as well. I believe in finding ways to truly connect with each individual child and to always see them for who they are and not just their diagnosis.
