Hi! My name is Abella and I’m 19 years old. I recently graduated from Lead-Deadwood high school in 2025. I am thinking of taking another gap year just to figure out what I want to do next. I enjoy working with kids and being someone families can rely on. I like spending time doing fun, simple activities with children while also making sure they are safe and cared for.

I have experienced babysitting for family, friends, and my community. I am comfortable with routines like meals, bedtime, helping with homework, and keeping kids engaged throughout the day. I’ve learned how to be patient, responsible, and attentive in different situations.

I have volunteered at my schools non-competitive volleyball tournament where i helped supervise and support elementary and middle school students. This experience gave me practice staying attentive, responsible, and helpful while watching groups of children in a structured setting.

I enjoy keeping kids engaged with a mix of indoor and outdoor activities depending on their age and interests. Indoors, I like doing things like drawing, coloring, board games, puzzles, reading, and simple crafts. I also will definitely help with homework or doing quiet activities when needed. Outdoors, I enjoy going to parks, playing games like tag or catch, riding bikes or scooters, and doing activities like sidewalk chalk or bubbles. I try to keep things fun, active, and safe while making sure kids feel comfortable and entertained.

What matters most to me about being a nanny is making sure children feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their parents are away. I think it’s important to be reliable, patient, and attentive so kids can feel secure and have a positive experience. I also care about creating a balance of fun and structure, whether thats helping with routines, homework, or spending time doing activities that keep them engaged. My goal is to support both the children and the parents by being someone they can trust and depend on.
