A little bit about me

I’m Abby, a career nanny with over two decades of experience. I’m extremely patient yet high energy with an optimistic outlook on life! I have a degree in Early Childhood Education with an emphasis on early literacy. As both an educator, and a mother myself, I know just how important it is to find a caregiver you can trust and reply on.

Children and teaching are truly my life’s passion. I pride myself on taking care of every child the same way I do for my very own. I am a believer in child lead learning, nature play, healthy habits and fostering high emotional I.Q. in tomorrow’s leaders.

I also believe each child is born with their own unique personality and gifts to be explored and nurtured. Everyday provides endless teachable moments from infancy! I love being able to see the joy in children as they learn and grow.

I am comfortable caring for multiple children, and have extensive newborn care experience. Strong focus on nutrition and experienced in dietary restrictions. :)

Reading! Playing educational games and engaging in pretend play, exploring nature and being active. Swimming, taking walks, playing sports and playing with musical instruments is really fun. Dance parties are also at the top of my list. ;)

The most important part about being a nanny...

Getting to be a part of a child’s life and family is so rewarding! Having the opportunity to spend years together caring for the children from newborn to preteen is truly a gift! I love being a role model and an additional trusted adult in a child’s life.
