I taught in pocalla elementary schools daycare center for 2 years while I was working on my ECE certification. I have been a live out nanny for 2 families with 2 or more children, and I worked at a childcare center for 8 months in 2020 before covid hit hard.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I spent a couple years with a family, one baby specifically took a special interest with me and when he turned 3 his parents put him in daycare. I still talked to his guardian and checked on him, well one-day in the grocery store I spotted him first. He started running as fast as he could and attached to my leg and he said teetee Abigail! I kissed his forehead and he said I'm just coming with you. You need to get a car seat for me? Let's go. It made me laugh and melted my heart.
