Although I did not work at a day care I've helped care for my sister with special needs for as long as I can remember—being like a second mom to her has shaped who I am today. It taught me how to be patient, nurturing, and attentive to individual needs. That experience naturally extended into babysitting for others. I’ve looked after neighbors’ kids, as well as many of my younger cousins and nieces, some from the time they were infants. Being trusted to care for children at such important stages in their lives is something I take seriously, and it's also something I truly enjoy.
