A little bit about me

Hello! my name is Abril Valles and I am 24 years old. I was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico. Coming from a big family and being the oldest of my siblings and cousins, taking care of the little ones grew naturally on me. After graduating high school i moved to Fort Worth, TX to pursue my dream of learning the English language and enrolled in the Intensive English Program at TCU. When i completed the program, I became particularly aware of the impact that teachers and caregivers have on the lives of children, which ignited my interest in the Education field. Currently, i am pursuing my associates degree in psychology and i can’t wait to practice what I’ve learn!
Over the past 3 years I’ve worked in a learning center as a teacher floater focusing on toddlers, pre-k and after schoolers. My last jobs included working as a live in nanny for babies which I’ve enjoyed so much!. I feel truly blessed with the experiences that I’ve had and excited for new adventures!
