My name is Alayna. I’m very excited to work with children of all ages. I’m a very patient and understanding person and I have a very big heart for children. I didn’t grow up in a very nice home so now that i’m older I try to get involved with children’s work as much as possible to show little ones that love and compassion starts at a young age. I’m willing to do meal preps, light house work and I’m also great with animals so any furry friends in the house will not bring a bother one bit! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I helped out at my schools daycare before summer started. This included two staff and myself as a helper with the children. I watched them play as well as made games up and played with them myself, helped cooked their dinner, change diapers, and made sure none of the kids would fight with eachother. It was an amazing experience. Currently I am working as a swim instructor to teacher all ages from 1 month to 14-16 year old kids how to swim. This includes teaching them correct swim terms, how to do them and how to perfect these actions to move onto swim force or to compete with other kids in races with different types of swimming movements. This job is hands on and has taught me that not everything can get done in one day, things take time. For little side jobs I have babysat a couple of my friends younger siblings while their parents were at work or on vacation.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I always love playing outside. going for walks, taking them to parks, etc. we can also play video games, color, work on homework together, watch a movie or their favorite tv show, puzzles, read a book. My favorite activities are whatever the children want to do at the time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is making sure not only the parents but the kids are comfortable with you and they connect with you. Making sure you keep that bond and knowing that if they ever need anything, you are right there to help. Being a nanny is about respecting the parents boundaries and have clear indications of what is and isn’t expected from all parties, childs parents and nanny

My experience with special needs children...

I’m no professional at any means but being adhd and slightly on the autistic scale I understand that different kids need different things to feel comfortable.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when A little boy I was watching was playing with a remote control car and he was having a BLAST but when he stopped for a moment and looked at me he looked so sad, i proceeded to ask what was wrong and he went running. He brought me back my own control car and said “now you can race me” we raced cars for a good 20 minutes before I realized I had no chance of winning because he played with these cars everyday and knew he was around the yard to win. :)
